Courtesy of UNFPA through LUKMEF to NADEV, some Dignity and Mama kits were distributed to 180 women and 26 men at Mary Health Fontem, Alou and Wabane sub divisions in Lebialem Division. The Dignity kits included soap, torchlight, loincloth, reusable pads, pants, whistles and buckets. The Mama kits distributed to expectant/nursing mothers were made up of baby wraps, napkins, towels and sets of baby pullovers. “These Mama kits came in time of my preparation to have my baby. It has lessened my burden of buying some emergency needs all thanks to NADEV and partners who thought of assisting women IDPs in conflict zones,’ one beneficiary said.
