Due to the escalation of the Anglophone crisis, most businesses in the two Anglophone regions have been affected drastically. Many people have gone out of business for these reasons:

• Inability to meet up with payment of taxes due to several days of lock downs.
• Inability to pay rents due to poor turnover.
• Pressure on capital from hosting IDPs.
Small Business Component was implemented in the Moungo Division. Two trainings have been carried out in the villages of Souza and Kake with a total of 36 women. These women were trained on customer relationship, record keeping, risk management, savings and marketing. The women welcome the project with a lot of euphoria and saw it as an opportunity to boost their profit margin and livelihood in the long run. They promised NC4D that recovery will be at a 100%.
